Piiiiitch is a creative process I have created

a Systemic Approach
for those who want to win their pitch.

Did you ever experience that feeling already?

Did you ever experience that feeling when you started to work on a pitch? You were alone, didn’t know where to go, what to do, perhaps even you didn’t know about what to achieve. Nothing was clear. Of course, you know your job, but sometimes you have many things to handle. It’s like your life runs away, everything around you disappear. In fact, the photo above doesn't represent a guy in the middle of nowhere. It’s you, in your own mind.

A flow
to follow

For those moments, what you need is something that catalyses the creative process, so you can work faster and more efficiently, focusing on what is essential. What you need is a flow to follow.

So, how to work on a pitch?

A few years ago, when I started to work on a pitch, I didn’t dare to ask to anyone in the agency how to do it: “what’s the workflow”? It was written nowhere. It was like everyone knew naturally how to do it (a kind of consensus). I was ashamed. But it turns out everyone had its own way to do it. It’s okay when you work alone. But, it’s a mess when people work together. People need to be synchronized in the way they work. So I asked myself “What could be a flow to work on a pitch?”.

Sometimes, the answer lies within the question itself:

A flow
to follow

We can claim ourself: “we are creative people”. But at the end of the day, we have to go through some stuff in order to deliver a Strategic Creative Solution to the client.

So I did some research and noticed something. Those steps can be organized in a way that makes sense when it comes to work on a pitch: “piiiiitch”, a creative process composed by 5 steps.

5 easy steps

It’s simple right? The only thing you have to do is to follow those 5 steps.
Piiiiitch helps you as guideline, as a flow. As crazy as it sounds, sometimes we don’t have 1 week to deliver a proposal we have only… a few hours. So instead of spending limited resources such as time and brain energy, adopt a systematic approach. Knowing what’s the next steps are, bring serenity and confidence. And it’s exactly what you need in order to be creative.
So, take the control of the Creative Process.

Those 5 steps are only the tip of the iceberg. There’s much more behind. But it’s the foundation of the Creative Process.

Creative process

Digital version

Piiiiitch is available under slide format, allowing to get an overview.

Creative process

Physical version

Piiiiitch is available under card format, allowing interaction.

At first, there were a version of piiiiitch designed on slides (digital) and another one designed on cards (physical). And through experimentations, it turns out it’s not about using one version or another. But using both versions, using the best of the two worlds (digital and physical): the efficiency comes from the combination of the 2 mediums.
